The accommodations were so bad; we had to go the Ramada inn next door. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel also smelled of cat urine and litter. I really hope you credit my card back. It was a terrible experience. ...read more

This hotel had bugs in the room. They double booked my room. The gentlemen that was there before me had to come and remove his belongings to go to his new room. The towels where very dirty. I am not happy. ...read more

After walking a gauntlet of brawling and cussing thugs on my floor, I finally made it to my room at the end of the hallway. I felt safer in Iraq. The sheets and towels have disgusting stains. This hotel is a disgrace to the Travelodge chain. No stars. Do not stay here! ...read more

Although the staff was friendly & helpful, the room cleanliness was poor. Bathroom had stains on the walls that could have easily been removed with cleanser, and there was an empty French fry carton on the floor left from the previous occupant. Also, the bedspread had stains on the inside which shows that the bedspread had not been appropriately washed. All were easily detectable and is just a lack of effort on behalf of its cleaning staff. ...read more

The pre-2007 reviews of this hotel are terrible. However, my wife and I found this former Howard Johnson building old, but clean and in good repair. If you are looking for a good, safe (security is in the parking lots and the hotel) very near the interstate then this is a good choice. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay at the Travelodge, Petersburg, and van. ...read more

All in it was a nice place to stay. You could tell it still needed some cosmetic work, but the staff made sure that everything I needed was taken care of. Yes I would stay there again.

My experience here was terrible. My brothers car was broken into, I booked 2 rooms here, and neither room had electricity to the wall outlets so none of the appliances, including the TV¿s worked. People outside were running amok around the parking lot all hours of the night, honking their car horns and running from car to car, either looting them or selling drugs or something. People running about the hotel all night as well. The coffee pots in both rooms still had the coffee grinds from the previous guest. Do yourself and your family a favor, and book somewhere else! ...read more

The room was ok. The walls were not fully painted and the bathroom needed some work done.

This hotel was very dirty, the rooms had not been cleaned. There was water damage on the wallpaper and it was hanging off the walls. The room and hallway smelt like pot. Saw a drug deal going down when I was going into my room. I felt very unsafe there and refused to stay. An employee there told me he would refund my money so I could find another hotel. I ended up paying for a hotel room I never stayed in because it was not safe for me and my young children. ...read more

It is very bad, rooms are far below 1 star hotel, can smell weed in every corner, people walk around half naked. People knocking door at night.
